Want to hear a crazy story? For Arcadefire!'s opening night, we had to bring Billy to the show. Before making the trip to opening night, Billy and I (Casey, the show's creator) went down to our sponsor's place, Tapper's Arcade Bar. Of course, we ended up at the Donkey Kong. We're a mere couple hours from opening, but we're packed and ready, car's on the way, and the show is playing just a couple of minutes up the road, and quicker than Donkey Kong can sling barrels, Billy's game started to really heat up...
He hit a million points...and then just 10 minutes before curtain, he hit 1,047,500 points. Knowing we had to get to the show (and being a little smart as that score is one of his contested and removed Donkey Kong records...), Billy walked away from the game, let Jumpman die, snapped a couple selfies with some impressed fans and we were out to the car to get to the big show. Except...we locked our keys, and our costumes in the car...
